Total War: Three Kingdoms |
Total War: Three Kingdoms is the next major historical title in the Total War series, developed by The Creative Assembly. It was announced on January 10, 2018, and released on May 23, 2019. The game is set in China during Three Kingdoms era. The game features two game modes. The first mode, 'Romance', is based on the highly romanticized account of the era, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, in which generals are gifted with nearly superhuman strength. HMS Victory is a BritishFirst Rate Ship of the Line featured in Empire: Total War. Boasting some of the highest firepower and hull strength of any ship in the game, she is a force to be reckoned with on the open seas. Historically, HMS Victory is perhaps most famous for her participation at the decisive Battle of Trafalgar, where an outnumbered British fleet under the command of Admiral Horatio Nelson decisively defeated a Franco-Spanish fleet led by Pierre-Charles Villeneuve, thereby granting the British and their allies naval superiority for the remainder of the Napoleonic Wars. Due to her venerable history, HMS Victory remains intact in the modern day as the last First Rate Ship of the Line still afloat (and nominally still in service with the British Navy). (Read More) |

I just checked the victory conditions on my Settra ME campaign and I have been baffled by how little you need.
The long campaign victory on very hard requires:
get 10 of the t5 monsters, you can do this with as little as 3 provinces and a necrotect.
Conquer Black Pyramid of Nagash
Build 7 unique bildings (the 6 pyramids and vault of nagash)
Conquer 17 out of a list of 21 settlements.
I just finshed conquering the south eastern part of the map, basically my starting area. I took out Arkhan, Queek, Khalida, Kroq and the minor factions. The furthest north my empire expands is literally the province those savage orcs you start at war with lived. And I already have 13 of those 17 settlements conquered. Moreover, the remaining four are all close by, in fact the furthest away you have to get from Khemri is Akendorf. Not even that, as you only need 17, I can win by going no further north than Karak Eight Peaks. That's the long victory, I'm literally recruiting one khemrian warsphinx away from getting the short victory.

To compare I started a von carstein campaign. Among others I needed to conquer all of a list of 20 provinces, which pretty much included all the major factions capitals (Altdorf, Khemri, Naggarond, Lothern, Hexoatl...).
What's up here? This is Mortal Empires, long campaign and all I need is pretty much conquer the southeastern quadrant of the map, whereas vampires need to conquer everything? Why is it so uneven? Why even play mortal empires, when I don't even need to set foot on Lustria to win?
