Hi Angela. In Screen Saver Settings, make sure you choose 'Photo Gallery' and not 'Photos'. Photo gallery is the screen saver (from [free] Windows Essentials 2012) that presents your photos in collage format, while Photos does a simple slideshow. Lastly, only a screen saver will do this, using the 'lock screen slideshow' does not present a collage either. Good luck.

Hi, I too am having a problem with this and the suggestion above gives a solution that has a simple two pic at a time collage. The one I originally had was a beautiful collage that filled my screen and had high quality images, it also had animation that would zoom in the pic while viewing it, and it transitioned seamlessly.

I am having the same problem as others.
With a new Windows 10 machine, the default setting for the screensaver was a very cool collage. It panned and zoomed and filled the screen in a puzzle-like pattern using a variety of different pictures. The software automatically selected the file containing the pictures, which I did not like (dumb pictures we all have ;) So now I can not figure out how to change the file where the pictures come from. I have tried all the screensaver settings, themes, background, lock screen...even downloaded Essentials 2012. The collage feature 'photo gallery' gives me a collage, but not as interesting as the original setting. How can I get back the original, cool setting? Thanks. Brian.

Same problem here. Anyone know how to configure this? I love the collage slideshow. Thanks

I followed your suggestion, but keep getting an error message saying 'The ScrnSvr (folder I want to use) folder isn't supported because of it's location. Please use another folder'. Instead of basically saying 'screw you', why in the **** wouldn't it say 'to use this folder move it to ____'. Where do I either move it to or copy it to so I can use it? This seems like it might be helpful, but my Windows 10 screensaver drop down menu doesn't even HAVE 'Photo Gallery' on it. What am I/my computer doing wrong?
Hope I'm not necroposting here but checked your above problem and I don't have Photo Gallery either. It's either removed or the feature controls are moved elsewhere for some reason. If this feature no longer exists all I can recommend is installing a slideshow screensaver app. However beware of viruses.
For reference I attach a screenshot. I had to hunt around a bit to find the link for the window (might want to check that, Microsoft) but it's under:
Settings-> Personalisation (-zation in US) -> Lock Screen-> Screen saver settings
Sorry I can't be of more assistance.

You need to download this- Photo gallery is the screen saver (from [free] Windows Essentials 2012) do it soon as it will not be available after this year I believe.
I downloaded Windows Windows Essentials about 2 months ago and it is now on my screensaver, i love it!
